Imran Series by ibn e Safi is an Urdu spy fiction novel series. The central character of the Imran series is Ali Imran, who is a funny person and plays the role of a secret agent who controls the secret service as X-2. but in front of others, he appears as a normal member of the Secret Service. Except for a few people, no one knows that he is the chief of the secret service.
Imran series’ first book, Khaufnaak Imarat was published in 1955. It was published by Random House and translated by Bilal Tanweer in “The House of Fear”. At the beginning of the series Imran appears as a solo detective, but later in the ninth book, Dhuaen ki Tehreer (The Scribbling in Smoke), Imran impersonates the chief of the Secret Service as X-2.
